April 29th 2018 - Every Cloud Wellness Day

A new venture for us... after listening to so many of our wonderful VIT's (Very Important Treatees) we decided that we would like to do something to support people with their wellbeing and mental health in addition to the little treats that we are able to fund. 

We spoke with our wonderful support network of businesses that want to work with us and support what we do and we gathered some of these fabulous businesses together at Morley Hayes to launch our first 'Every Cloud Wellness Day'.

The day was a great success, bringing people together to talk about their experiences of breast cancer (which included friends and family as well) and introducing people to therapies and treatments that could help with their recovering and general well being.

A huge thank you to Morley Hayes for hosting the event, to Louise from The Greenery Florist who made our beautiful hand tied bouquets for all our VITs, www.emmyoga.com for coming and inspiring us with all things Yogi and Zen! Kerry from The Bridge Centre www.bridgenaturalhealth.co.uk who discussed reflexology and angelic healing and many more that made the event such a success

April 19th 2018 - Women in Business Network

We have been lucky enough to be involved with the Women in Business Network for the past two years as their chosen local charity. We attend their meetings (all fabulous by the way!) which help professional women to network, be inspired by other women, boost their confidence and generally be a support network for each other.

Once again we have so kindly received a donation of £50 from their latest event which was held on the 19th April at the University of Derby and focused on Wellbeing.

March 8th - 18th 2018   Gandeys Circus

Huge thank you to Gandeys Circus who have supported us once again on their visit to Derby! We had a stand in the entrance hall to the circus collecting all your change - our wonderful committee member Tracey did a sterling job of manning the stand nearly every night to help drum up awareness and support for us. We also had some lovely supporters and friends of ours help with collecting change - we are so grateful!
